What sort of coat would look best?

Resolved Question

What sort of coat would look best?

I am down as "hourglass honey" in most books/surveys and i have read that wearing a coat like a mac that ties around the waist looks best but it honestly makes me look plump and rather vile. So im trying to think of a style that would look best. Im thinking a buff ball coat, but it needs to be flattering. I am a size 16-18 and around 5 ft 7 tall :)

Please help, UK only.

a long cocoon or dolly coat that puffs out at the hips, yes - by long i mean still above the knee. but no a short one b/c they tend to puff out at the stomach area and that will make you look bigger..

But on the second one leave the neck un buttoned to make you look slimmer..x

  • Do you mean a puffer coat? Like this:

I can tell you right now that won't be flattering. It's just going to make you look way larger than you are.

I would suggest a peacoat. It's classic and looks good on any body type. Make sure you get one with waist shaping though. Don't get one that's swingy like this: http://www.theoutnet.com/intl/ProductDet…
Because it'll just flare out and make you look wider.
