How to look good on your first day of college?

I have my first day at college tomorrow, and i'm meeting my form for the first time, and because im doing childcare its mainly going to be girls, and well lets face it girls can be bitchy lol. So i was just wondering how i could just look not over done with makeup and stuff but have a like a natural glow and look healthy and stuff, so basically some beauty tips lol.

You're right that natural and not over done is the way to go, that way girls cant criticise you for being too done up or being too plain. I would simply use a small amount of foundation to cover any blemishes and to even the skin tone, but not too much and then a small amount of blush or bronzer on the cheekbones too give you a healthy glow, but not too much. I wouldn't bother with eyeliner, it always smudges by the end of the day and you always have to re-apply which means fighting for a mirror in the bathroom. So maybe just a flick of mascara and some lip balm.

• Downplay your makeup. Wear a simple straight leg jean (dark wash is best) or a simple straight or wide leg trouser. Since you'll be sitting in classrooms, you can do a heel without looking overdone or killing your feet. Wear a simple blouse. Since you don't have to worry about impressing your future employer on your first day, and you're not going into med school where you have to look semi-professional, you can have more fun with your outfit. A cute top that's appropriate for daytime wear, and appropriate around children, would be fine. You're going into childcare, so you can have fun. But also dress appropriately for being around children. Nothing grossly low cut, keep your skirts around knee length, wear sensible shoes (but since you're not working with kids just yet, have fun, they can be cute flats or low heels), and slacks or jeans.
• Attire: You can dress in some jeans a nice dressy top and some heels. You can also wear a nice pencil skirt with a nice tucked in blouse.
  
  Makeup: A nice neutral lip gloss and a little bit of foundation if you need it but if not I would just make sure my lips are glossy.
