The majority of photos im tagged in on fb i look hideous, yet if i take photos of myself i think i look ok?

Were talking big differences here - in the ones taken by friends my face tends to look chubby and my nose looks nasty.
Yet if i take photos with the same camera, myself, i will look fine and my face looks slimmer and nose looks ok (and more like what i identify as what i look like).

So im really confused to what i actually look like, sometimes i get tagged in nice photos, sometimes i look bloody terrible. But how there be such a dramatic difference?

I am EXACTLY like that....Unfortunately. But I've kind of solved this problem, basically you just have to find the right angle for your face e.g. I look awful from the left side: my nose looks crooked and I look generally pretty retarded, but from the right side I look fine. Why? I have no idea. It's just the way your made, so whenever in a photo, try and position your face into the right angle and you'll look fine :)

• easy...You delete the photos where you think you look terrible and only post those ones that got your own approval. No one ever posts ugly pictures of themselves. Your friends don't think you look terrible so they post them without second thought. Don't judge your image by photographs just look in a mirror. Geesh!
• It really depends on there and your photo taking skills. I mean YOU know what light and angle your face looks good in right? So the resolves in nicer pictures of yourself, your friends don't know what angle looks good on you and thus just takes a "bad" picture. Thats why.
• It's probably because you're not ready and looking more natural than posed when you're in photo's that are tagged.
  It could also be the camera angle.
