Question about girls shaving arms?

ok, i've got dark hair and eyes and quite dark skin, too, so i've always had dark arm and leg hair that shows up very clearly, and people used to pick on me when i was at primary school. when i was about eleven i started shaving my legs but i thought i was meant to shave my arms as well, so i did, and i liked not having to always wear long sleeved t-shirts and stuff anymore. but then i found out that it's kind of weird and that a lot of people think you're a lesbian or something if you do it, so i decided to try stopping over the summer holidays, and i did but it's grown back weirdly (i thought if it grew for long enough it would go back to normal again) and i've become really self-conscious about wearing short sleeves again, and i've been back at school for two weeks and already had somebody tell me i look like a werewold. : /

so i was thinking i might as well start shaving them again, but i feel kind of weird about how most girls think it's odd or gay to shave your arms. what should i do?

It sounds like you're getting ridiculed either way, so go with what makes you feel most confident. There's nothing wrong with shaving your arms. The only reason I never have is because I know that if I start, I'll have to do it forever since it doesn't grow back the same. Who cares what people say about it. People make up really stupid things about EVERYTHING. They will always find something to pick on, no matter how "perfect" a person may be.

• just like legs, they're better when they're smooth, imo. IDK why some girls are so against removing arm hair when they remove leg hair, it's the same thing.

• Just shave your arms. Don't worry about what other people think. You will be surprised to know that A LOT of girls, who aren't "gay" shave there arms. I do it, and I'm pretty sure I'm not lesbian.
  
  I've never heard of anyone saying it's odd, and that you have to be a lesbian to shave your arms.
• there are loads of things. laser surgery, veet. if you think it looks bad then you wont feel good about yourself and that is worse. i think waxing is best. and is easy cheep but it's not long term.. so maybe you want laser surgery, good luck and let me know how is goes. xx
• I shave my arms.When I started shaving my legs I started shaving my arms too because I have dark hair.I don't think there's anything weird or wrong about it.I've never heard of it being a lesbian thing either.That sounds like some stupid thing kids made up. Don't be ashamed of it.
• It's not weird at all. I shave them, and 3 of my 5 best friends do too. If you're Italian, Greek, or Mexican, you sometimes just have to!
• i also have dark hair but im really white and i know it sucks but i just shave. and shaving feels better to me than having hairy arms. =\
