How come whatever colour bubble bath you use the bubbles are always white?

my 4 year old just asked me and i didn't know the answer

Technicaly, the bubbles are clear. They difuse the light, making it look as thought he bubbles are white. There is actually very little of the bubble bath material in each bubble, not enough to affect the coloring of the individual bubbles.

  • Thank your lucky stars they are - if the bubbles were coloured it would mean they would either stain your skin or you'd have to wash the colouring off after your bath.
