Nair is a good brand(think it is available in the UK, at least it is in the London area), it is less expensive then others and does as good a job as the very expensive brands. You need to test a spot on a sensitive area of skin like behind your knees to see if you will be able to use any of them though. Some people have reactions that can be mild or as bad as a bad burn.
I have used many of the brands available because a girlfriend kept getting them for me when she owned a spa. Still like Nair the best though. You can use your hand to spread the cream or put it on a washcloth and spread it over the skin. You can count on the hair being gone longer then with shaving, won't have nicks and cuts from razor blades and the skin is much softer. This is because it kind of exfoliates the skin as it removes the hair which is a good thing especially if you have rough skin normally.

  • Hair removed creams don't hurt at all unless your skin is very sensitive. It gives a hot sensation, like warmth, but this is very mild and doesn't cause any discomfort. It lasts about a week and a half, unlike shaving which can sometimes only last for two days. I find it better than shaving because it doesn't dry out your skin (due to lotions infused inside of cream) and is more thorough in removal.

I find the better brands to be in a spray can (spray on) because you don't have to spread it around with your hands and you don't have to touch it and it makes less of a mess.
