My hair is exactly the same, its really long and i got layers put through it and im really annoyed that is hasnt made a difference as i liked my hair before.
i have found that herbal essences volumizing shampoo and conditioner works.. and tresemme volume shampoo and conditioner too. I have also come across a hairspray called Fat hair 0 calories which is AMAZING ! and the same brand have a thickening spray which also works a treat!! i honestly dont know where i would be with out them!!

As for the fake tan.. i highly reccoment st moritz fake tan and st tropez tan! i love this stuff and it doesnt turn you orange. Or try a tinted moisturiser, ? johnsons do one although it really smells, garnier also do one that smells like apricot lol.. but thats also good as long as you apply it evenly to prevent streaks and patches and thourghly wash your hands after ! otherwise they turn orange.
The only other thing i would reccomend is getting a spray tan? they last for about 2 months.. and it doesnt come off in the shower, pool or anything. Although this is slightly more expensive, usually around £20.

  • For your hair, after you have washed it, apply any volumising mousse, especially concentrating on the roots, after this, tip your head upside down and blow dry it like this, it gives it more volume, back brushing is also a good way to get bigger hair, but use a good hairspray like Elnett (I think that's what it is called). Try to avoid brushing your hair too much, when you do, don't brush your roots, just brush the ends of your hair.

For the fake tan, I LOVE St.Moriz, I looked for ages for a good fake tan that didn't cost too much and i finally found it.

You can also get them on ebay around £8 for two bottles.
It doesn't smell too bad, it doesn't go streaky/patchy and it gives you a lovely golden tan, also lasts a while.

    Hope this helped x
  • Mousse on the roots of your hair should help give it a bit of lift. but dont put it through all of your hair as it will weigh it down and flatten it. When you dry your hair, you should lift up from the roots with your fingers, also backcomb some of your hair underneath and hold in place with hairspray. You could even try velcro rollers, leave them in dry hair for an hour and spray.

Fake Tan - Fake Bake Xtreme. It's the darkest of the fake bake collection and is like a sort of gel consitensy so its not as messy as normal lotions. Put it on before bed (it goes on almost black and patchy, but dont panic!! It all washes off to reveal a lovely deep golden tan) leave on for at least 8 hours. Wash it off and voila!

If you are ever looking for a instant tan, Sex Symbol Aerotan. Its amazing! really nice golden colour and as shimmer! It just sprays on and doesnt streak at all!

    Hope this helps!
  • Hair: two good products that come to mind for me are Tresemmee Spray in volumizing gel and john frieda root volumizer. My favorite is the john frieda one, leaves your hair soft too :)

Tan: I love Aveeno's self-tanner, but have been having trouble finding it. My second option is Jergen's natural glow. I've used both, and my fave is Aveeno, but Jergens works just as well.

    Hope this helps!!
  • 1. Try big sexy hair shampo. That works well with me.
    2. Maybe try the tanning bed? Alot of fake tans can turn you orange. Ha I learned this from my friend (:
